Looking forward to seeing the team perform over the weekend at the QLD Sprint Championships. We are sending a team of 21 to compete across the 2-day competition, the last State event for the 2023/24 season.

Where:* Brisbane Aquatic Centre. Sleeman Sports Complex, Old Cleveland Rd & Tilley Road, Chandler Queensland 415

KEY TIMES & Information***

Representative Caps: New State Representatives will receive their Genesis State Championships cap which will be handing out at club night on the 9th of February. Anyone who isn't in attendance cap pick it up from the coach over the weekend.

Finals: Finals will be swum following the conclusion of strokes within the session for 11 years and over. Results will be posted inside the venue near marshaling and on meet mobile.

Gates open at 7:00am for warmup. The competition pool may be used for warm up, until 15 minutes prior to racing commencing.

Seating: * We will endeavor to sit as a team in lower section 10 as usual, provided there is space.

Uniforms: * Please remember to wear your Genesis Swim Club polo to and from the swimming meet and remain in your uniform until the coach asks you to warm-up. For racing, the light blue Genesis swimming cap can be worn but your state rep cap is preferred.

Coach: * Coach Rick will be in attendance for the weekend. Please report to him 90 minutes before your scheduled race time.

Roster: * Genesis has NOT been assigned any timekeeping for the weekend, enjoy this rare occasion.
