As short course season rapidly approaches, I wanted to take a moment to highlight the key events we’ll be targeting as a team, along with a general outline for those participating in each meet. Any meets outside of this list you wish to participate in must be approved by a member of the coaching team. Short course racing presents an excellent opportunity to refine your skills, as it takes place in 25-meter pools, providing unique challenges and opportunities for improvement. The meets we are focusing on this season are as follows:
Genesis Aquatics Short Course Preparation Meet – 8/6/25https://swimmingbrisbane.org.au/event/2025-genesis-aquatics-short-course-preparation-meet/We will be hosting our own short course preparation meet on Sunday, 8th June, and all competitive swimmers are strongly encouraged to take part in this event as part of their season preparation.
