With Long Course season on the horizon, I wanted to highlight to all families the key events we will be targeting as a team for the remainder of 2025. Any meets outside of this list you wish to participate in must be approved by a member of the coaching team. Please discuss with the coaching team which events to swim at any of these upcoming meets.
2025 Brisbane Open Water Championships – 6th September 2025https://swimmingbrisbane.org.au/event/2025-brisbane-open-water-championships/This meet contributes towards the Brisbane Premiership and was a high point scorer for our team last season. We encourage all swimmers 11 & Over to participate in this event as an opportunity to try something outside of the norm.
2025 Ipswich Grammar School Long Course Transition Meet – 14th September 2025https://swimmingbrisbane.org.au/event/2025-ipswich-grammar-school-long-course-transition-meet/We will be travelling to Ipswich Grammar as a team as this meet allows all swimmers 5 & Over to race as a team in age-appropriate events. This meet offers 25m races through to 400m races and allows our whole team to participate at a singular meet. Please start considering your nominations for this event.
2025 St Andrew’s Preparation Meet – 17th October 2025More information will be provided when made available
2025 Brisbane Metropolitan Relay Championships – 2nd November 2025https://swimmingbrisbane.org.au/event/2025-brisbane-metropolitan-relay-championships/This meet is another point scoring meet for the Brisbane Premiership and is a great day of team-based competition. An expression of interest will be sent out closer to the date to finalise our teams on the day.
